A quality web page from Google's perspective

All businesses want to have a website with the best possible positioning in search engines. A good position means a large number of potential customers and most likely, sales.

To rank as high as possible in the search engine results, you need to master a lot of information and answer a large number of questions. One of the most important is: What does Google want from you?

How do you get to the top of Google?

Basically, Google wants the results it provides when someone generates a search to be as relevant as possible. If you are looking for a good dentist, the purpose of the search engine is to provide you with relevant results that you will be satisfied with. A quality page in Google's perspective is a page that fully satisfies the searcher. The first thing you need to consider is the satisfaction of those who visit your website. If you have high-quality content that keeps visitors engaged for as long as possible, the chances of success on Google are considerable. But good content is not enough. There are a lot of other details that impact your site's position in search engines:

  1. Speed. Any website must be hosted on a server that is always on, so that the website is always accessible. A good web hosting should ensure fast loading, security and minimal risks. However, the most important speed factor remains the correct structure and continuous optimization of the website.

  2. Optimizarea SEO.

  3. SEO optimization. For each article and page, it is very important to optimise the words, titles, meta tags, internal links, images, etc. This is done to give a nudge to Google of what is most likely to be searched for and found.

  4. Website Authority. This is acquired over time, through the formation of external links, received from other websites or from posts created on social media. In fact, they are mentions of your website. In this way, Google will identify that your website has a very high chance of being relevant, since it is mentioned in several places on the Internet, in a constant and permanent way.

  5. Content structure. From the point of view of potential customers, it is quality content that provides useful information. In search engine terms, quality means a well-crafted, easy-to-read structure. It is important to have a correct density of keywords on the page, to have fragmented content through titles, sub-titles, bullet-points and dashes, to have an appropriate length of the articles and a simple design.

  6. Display mode on various devices. People can access the Internet from various devices: phones, tablets, computers, televisions, smart watches, etc. For this reason, it is very important that the website adapts to the dimensions of the device.

  7. Security. More and more emphasis is placed on the security of those accessing a website. Their data and devices must be completely secure. Unfortunately, there are a lot of viruses that can compromise user safety. Fortunately, any website can benefit from an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate, which ensures an encrypted connection between the web page and the device from which it is accessed.

How does Google check all these elements?

Once online, the site is accessed and indexed using software called a Crawler or GoogleBot. This software is always looking for fresh content on the Internet and when it finds it, it orders it in searches according to the algorithm that takes into account all the aspects mentioned above. It is very important, therefore, to always have new content on the site and to respect the quality criteria imposed by Google. In this way, the chances of reaching the first places of searches increase considerably.
